It looks as if I have one more day to continue raising money for FPCR. Let’s make this a year-end appeal!
FPCR has had to modify their delivery of care, in order to continue to fulfill the mission of keeping families together by helping local homeless families and those on the verge of homelessness with unmet needs.
The direct impact of FPCR’s Program Services Project for 2020 is determined by looking at the number of families that have graduated FPCR and have maintained their independence once situated in their own home as well as those families we have “saved” from eviction. This year, to date, FPCR provided overnight hospitality and assistance to 4 families (43 families since FPCR’s inception in April 2015), case management to 45 distinct families, rental assistance to prevent eviction to 25 distinct families, assistance with household bills and unpaid medical bills to over 14 distinct families, household items and toiletries to 45 distinct families, computers to 3 distinct families, and door-step delivery of food to at least 18 distinct families. Greater than 60% of those helped were children.
We foresee an increase in the demand in services for 2021. Thank you for your support in helping us help our families in the Capital Region!
