Shelter Program
​Shelter Program. Since 2015, FPCR has partnered with congregations of different faiths to provide rotational shelter space, meals, and overnight staffing – at no cost to our guest families – making our program the most cost-effective shelter program in our community. During the day, our Day Center provides a home base for families where they can shower, do laundry, catch buses to school/work, and receive case management services.

​We complete a thorough intake interview/evaluation when we receive a request from a family or a referral from a social agency, school, or other source, to determine how best to help. ​ The success of our program is measured by the stability and security of the families we serve in the areas of housing, food, health care access, job retention, and education. Once families secure housing, FPCR continues to provide ongoing counseling and support for a minimum of 1 year – and often longer – so that families do not lapse into homelessness.
