Participating Congregations
FPCR does not operate a traditional shelter. Rather, we work with several faith communities that host our guest families by converting underutilized space into private, home-like, overnight accommodations for up to three families at a time, on a rotational basis (1 week at a time, 4 times per year). Each evening their congregants, who are trained volunteers, provide our guest families home-cooked meals, homework help, recreational activities, and a sense of community.

Support congregations, community groups, and individuals provide additional volunteer support to the Day Center, host sites, and FPCR committees. They also donate household goods, furniture, hygiene products, diapers, funds, and sometimes host fundraising events.
